What is the difference between a Recession and a Depression ?

Default What is the difference between a Recession and a Depression ? - 06-19-2009, 06:26 AM

Recession is 6 months of negative growth.Depression is a prolonged decline in economic activity.Now lets be more specific.How many percent the economy has to decline per annum, and for how many years the decline has to last before we can call it a Depression? ------
