-limit egg yolk to max 3 times per week
-increase dietary fib re intake e.g. fruits, veg, wholegrain products
-choose lean meat and remove skin before cooking
-choose unsaturated fat cooking oil in cooking
-EXERCISE

A dose of 20 mg devastating once a day (con ult your doc) is best.

LOW FAT,LOW CHOLESTROL FOODS INCLUDE :

1) Fruits and vegetables
2) Whole grains, like cereal, rice and pasta
3) Lean meats and poultry without skin (no more than 6 total ounces per day)
4) Low-fat or skim milk dairy products
5) Lean fish and shellfish (but go easy on eating shrimp and lobster-their higher in cholesterol)
6) Beans and peas
7) Nuts and seeds in limited amounts
8) Unsaturated vegetable oils like canola, olive, safflower and sunflower oils in limited amounts

Omega 3 fish oil.........there is alto of info about it on the web. It has worked for me.

If you are an vegetarian and dint want to take fish oil, you can take Raw Garlic or Garlic in capsule form.

I lowered my cholesterol by eating losing 80 pounds by eating a low fat meals, not eating out, no oil while cooking, etc.

I also heard that adding Metamucil or oatmeal in the morning was very good. You need fiber. Excercise AND take stat in pills. Why not do everything. I haven't trying the stat ins yet, but I plan too.

1. Diet restriction.Reduce all animal food products.
fish is better than fowl, fowl is better than flesh.
2. Exercise
3. Increase fiber in your diet.
