Lining of the Uterus?? CANCER!!!???I went to the dr and they told the lining of my uterus is thick and a little abnormal, what does this mean? who has this? does this mean i will not be able to have babies? does it mean cancer? can you all help if you know anything about this or have thick lining in the uterus

NO it doesn't mean cancer and it doens't mean infertility. See a specialist and find out what it is before you panic. It could be endometritis. I was told at 16 I would never have babies because of it - I have 3 of them.

Although when you have uterine cancer, it's possible to have thick lining of the uterus, just because the lining is thick does not mean you HAVE cancer.The lining of your uterus changes even at different parts of your cycle, and responds to hormones in your body, so even something like birth control pills could make it that way. While it's definitely something to look into, just to be sure it's nothing serious, it could be something very simple, so don't worry yet!

I don't know much about this because I don't have a uterus, but it seems to me that if it was serious like infertility or cancer the doctor would tell you.

A thick lining is usually good for fertility / implantation.You say a little abnormal - doesn't sound like doctor was concerned about it. You should ask doctor for further diagnosis. The doctor may prescribe Provera to see if that has any impact (to induce heavy AF). The doctor may also do more tests for fibroids. There are a lot of others things that it can be (it can also be normal for you) other than cancer.
