I was diagnosed w/colon cancer stage 4 in Aug. 2004; cancer returned in the Lung on Aug. 2006. Completed radiation. Recently had a PET scan, all cleared but radiologist did indicate that my Uterus was swollen.I was diagnosed with colon cancer stage 4 at the age of 40.

You're not giving your age in this blurb, but based on the fact you had colon cancer I'm guessing you are 50+ (ie post menopausal). There's a lot of reasons you may have what appears to be a swollen uterus. The most obvious would be menstruation, but if you're post menopausal than that isn't likely. Other causes for enlarged uteri is myomas (benign muscle tumors in the uterus), a wrong reading on the scan (can happen frequently), or uterine cancer. Your doc may want to do a uterine ultrasound to see the uterus and the lining of the uterus more clearly. The most common presenting symptom for uterine cancer is bleeding. If you've had bleeding (post menopausal), and have this finding on scans then you might want to show up earlier to your gynecologist to discuss the findings.Best wishes.
