It depends...on the type of lymphoma, comorbidities, prior treatment, etc. I am 35, with follicular lymphoma. It was in my spleen, liver and a lot of other places. Stage 4. It was almost 2 years ago that I was diagnosed. I am now pretty much in remission. I have a few small pockets, but it is stable and not growing.The general feeling with lymphomas is that you die with it, not from it. Doctors have a whole bunch of treatment options and the list grows daily. Lymphoma is very manageable.Just make sure she is at a bigger medical center, with researchers and clinical trials. Those are where the cutting edge methods are (like sloan kettering, NYU, Cleveland clinic, Mayo clinic, Fred Hutchinson etc etc)Good Luck... She will be fine with treatment
