OK Dude - this is panic or anxiety.
You got sore nuts - did you know that your bed can cause this problem if it is too hard or too soft - I am serious.
Across your lower back are all the muscles and nerves that connect directly to your groin area - if your doctor had any common sense at all they would have known this - just by pressing on your lower back at a point just around the fourth or fifth vertebrae up - you would have shot across the room at light speed or hit your head on the ceiling from the shock.
Many men suffer this pain in the groin and automatically think the worst - the problem here is, in most cases, pain full testicles DO NOT point to cancer - they point to inf lammed veins or an infection - as the antibiotics cleared up the pain - you do not have cancer. BUT, you should always check yourself monthly anyway as a matter of course. When you should worry is when you find a lump that is hard and not painful..............then you get to the doc ASAP
The breathing could simply be, you being on that point of flailing to sleep - your berating does become more shallow and slower as you are not exercising or moving.
The other thing to consider is the phlegm - no blood does not mean no cancer BUT a simple Xray would sort that out - there have been numerous bugs going around for the 8 - 9 months and all of them have the same viral basis and symptoms - sore throat, blocked sinuses, headaches, tight chest etc etc etc and they can take AGES to go.
Hope that calms you down a little but - DO consider your bed - you will be surprised at how many ailments are simply down to having the wrong bed.
ADDED - to respond to your follow up points - you may have an inf lammed vein in your testicle - it is quite common and especially if you did have an infection. The pain or aches may last several more weeks yet until the inflammation goes down or, you may need a longer dose of antibiotics - when I had a similar problem the course of antibiotics was for 20 days and that was down to an inf lammed vein - I have been there dude - I know how worrying it can be and that is why I tell you all of the above - been there, done that etc etc etc.
The cough, you need to get sorted out - it could be viral, it could be allergy, it could simply be one of those things that has never cleared up from a previous infection - ask your GP to send you for an Xray - it takes 10 Min's, if that. AND, they can tell you straight away
