Default Could It be lung cancer? - 04-24-2009, 11:54 PM

Well My mum has bronchitis, and is a heavy smoker well 20-30 a day (stopping tomorrow). she went to the hospital and had a scan done and she has a lump on her lung, of course she thinks the worst (lung cancer) because my nan died less than 4 months ago of kidney cancer and my uncle has non Hodgkin lymphoma the blood one. but his getting better his had it for 8-9 yrs longer than docs seed he would survive. anyway could there be anything else my mum could have she 53; 54 tomorrow.

I hope she doesn't have lung cancer. I had a spot on the lungs once, it was nothing. I will pray for your mother.

It could be cancer, especially if she's a heavy smoker. If it turns out to be a false alarm, she should take it as a wake-up call and quit.

I also have issues with lung cancer. I posted my question on wish123 and got an answer from an expert who solved my problem. Highly recommend the website.
