Dude, some people, like comedian Andy Kaufman (see link, below), get lung cancer without ever having smoked a cigarette in their life, so, I'm sorry, but there's no way to cheat it.
Lung cancer happens. You can get it even if you go your entire life without smoking and some people go they're whole lives smoking 2 packs a day and never get it.
how about no cigarettes in your whole life?
I am 27 and a lot of my friends smoke (fortunately, I don?t hang out with them a lot). I am a little overweight but healthy. Haven?t had any kind of disease or crisis because I do a little exercise and DON?T SMOKE. But my friends who smoke, they are making doctor appointments all the time for one thing, and another and another; and the first thing their doctors tell them is to quit smoking.
Cigarettes increase your risk of lung cancer and a range of other diseases. Many scientific studies have shown this. None of these studies have been able to establish a safe level of smoking.
All studies so far have only shown that smoking increases your risk, not that smoking a particular amount increases your risk. If you are only smoking one a day or even one a week then you are not addicted, so why smoke at all?
