But i am not sure if i am just worrying for nothing but i have done the way they say to check and i dint feel anything. Can you tell me what you think, or what i should do. A manual (by hand) breast exam would be the next step. If you find no masses (tumors), you are probably fine. You might be advised to have a mammogram, but these..as they involve radiation...may pose a health risk. Many doctors have concluded that yearly mammograms from, say 35 or 40 have been unnecessary, and maybe a mistake.

I hope you have a fine diet, including some supplements, such as fish oil (for Omega-3 oils), and any and all antioxidants. And, minerals, such as calcium and magnesium. Most of us are potassium deficient and have systems which are too acid. The last two are critical, and may play a part in cancer prevention. Fresh vegetable juice is wonderful for vitamins, minerals and enzymes.

You don't give your age, but the fact that you have such young children and need contraception almost certainly puts you in a very low risk group for breast cancer.

Breast cancer is almost unheard of in under 25s, fewer than 0.1% of all those diagnosed with it are under 30, and only 5% are under 40. Most (80%) are over 50, and the average age at diagnosis is a little over 60.

Tenderness such as you describe is not a symptom of breast cancer, and the fact that it is happening in both breasts makes it even less likely that this is anything sinister. Pain is rarely a sign of breast cancer, and most people diagnosed with it have felt no pain at all.

What you are describing is almost certainly hormonal; if it persists and it continues to worry you, see your doctor.

Usually a woman knows her breast(s). However, most don't feel them often unless they feel soreness. You are searching for an unusual lump(s), not like the many that feel bunched, which may be fibrosis.
Many instances it can simply be a hormonal imbalance. There are also many lymph nodes within the breasts which can be swollen. Don't overdo with your checking, you can also make them sore. IF you do notice an individual bump you feel suspect, do the right thing and spring the dollars for a mammogram.

Maybe you should get a second or third opinion. Flag down any man you see, and ask for his opinion. Men on the street are an excellent way to get free breast exams.

Milk production is not caused by pregnancy but by nipple stimulation and the good news is it also prevents breast cancer. See links for news articles.
Cancer is unlikely in someone who is or has just finished breast feeding and usually only occurs in women over 50.

You can check it manually on your own by feeling for any lumps in your breasts.

Note that a few days before and throughout the period pregnancy of the structure of the breasts may appear strange. You could feel chunks. The use of contraceptive tablets also performances a function. Inquire your medical practitioner to determine the best designated day of present breast self-examination.
