Default Common (Fatal) Teen Blood Disorders? - 01-07-2009, 06:39 PM
What are some common and fatal disorders in teens that affect blood? I'm writing a story and a sixteen year old boy dies from a health issue. I don't want it to be cancer.What other type of disease or disorder would kill him that isn't rare. If it's rare it seems far-fetched so it needs to be kind of common or at least it happens more often than not.

Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP)and by the way that is Sickle cell anemia, not cycle cell!!!!!
