Default Will I still be protected during sex if I delay my period the birth control method? - 12-25-2008, 04:27 PM

I talked to my doctor and she said I could delay my period by skipping the last week of my birth control pills, and starting a new pack. What I need to know is, will I still be protected if I do this? I forgot to ask her and she's out of town for a while. Please and thank you!

As long as you take your pills on time you will be protected. You might experience some spotting but other than that you will be good to go!
