Hyperactive babies-how do you cope? -

Me and my hubby are slightly worried that our daughter, now 7 months, is showing signs that she's going to have a hyperactive disorder.I know you shouldn't campare babies but my friends lil ones seem calm and will sit still happily for ages. Our lil monster is a fidget, from 3 months we got a jumperoo cos she wanted to bounce all the time,a walker at 4 months cos she wanted to walk and our backs were giving in-its been a blessing. The only thing is she gets bored after a few mins and wants to grab everything in sight, in public she shouts and screams loud until i pick her up and she then wants me to let her hold the handle bars of her pram to push and the looks we get lol She is a real handful and even fidgets in her sleep, i got really upset in the early days because i was worn out but now we can laugh about it, apart from worrying if she's hyper.Im sure theres lots of other babies like this and to hear from other mums/dads in the same situation would be reassuring.Lydia, how really over sensitive are you? Thankfully we have a fun approach to parenting in our house as I didn't get much of a childhood myself and want my children to enjoy theirs. My baby came out of hospital in a devil suit, her nickname is the tiny terror and its all just a giggle, never said malicuosly. She gets hugs and kisses all day long, when she's awake she gets constant attention and we read to her, take her swimming, play games.Shes always smiling, but she has a strong character which we encourage her to have but as a mum i have to admit, im not superwoman and yes sometimes i get tired, but never take it out on my angel and i gaurantee you before you make stupid assumptions, she will have the best upbringing a child could wish for and more love than you can imagine.I wasn't moaning i was asking for other mums who understood me to give me advice as idiots like you make me feel like somethigns wrong. ------
