Hello Community,
Olive leaf extract come directly from the leaves of an olive tree. Olive leaves are known for having medicinal properties; they are a source of antioxidants and have antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and even anti-fungal properties. You can purchase olive leaf extract, or you can make your own at home for a fraction of the cost.
1. Remove the olive leaves from an olive tree. Collect half a pound of these leaves.
2. Rinse off the leaves in a sink with tap water.
3. Drain the water, and set the leaves in a crock pot.
4. Add distilled water and turn the crock pot's heat setting to low. Set the lid on the crock pot and let the leaves cook for 12 hours.
5. Turn off the crock pot after 12 hours and allow it to cool down to room temperature naturally. This can take several hours.
