Ok, so I used to use this eyeliner all the time for like close to 2 years, then a had bought one like 2 months ago and never opened it, and for some reason I just stopped using them and went to pencil. Anyways so today I opened it and put it on, and it was all fine and dandy until i took it off. I now have swelling on my upper lash line, and it is reddish and shh its just puffy! and i am wondering if this is some kind of allergic reaction and why this happened now and not before?
The swelling starts exactly where my eyeliner was, and is only where my eyeliner was. Just like I changed the color from black- to swelled reddish pink.

It's hard to tell for sure if this is what is irritating your eyelid.

What I would suggest is giving your eye time to heal and return to normal and then give it another shot (maybe on a weekend or when you don't have to see anyone!).

That's the best way to know if the eyeliner is exactly what's causing this kind of reaction.

It seems unlikely since you have used the eyeliner previously but it wouldn't be the first time that a manufacturer changed the formula of a product.

oh my gosh i had the same thing happen to me but with different liquid eyeliner and my situation was worse it got so bad to the point where i couldn't keep my eye open or closed because it felt like a crumb or something was stuck inside my eyelid that i couldn't get out and it lasted for a day but became unbearable so i went to the emergency room first thing the next morning the Dr. Numbed my eye and had to scrap off small little pieces that looked like metal off my eyeball. I had to wear an eye patch for a week and use eye drops!

Be very careful with makeup never use cheap makeup or unknown brands!
