What are major issues families in our day and age face from day to day that other generations haven't?(In regards to raising children, surviving in our society, lifestyles, etc.)

Ideally, the best biological time to get pregnant is between twenty-five and thirty-five years of age. Studies show that women in this age group have the best chance of a healthy pregnancy, labor, and delivery. After age thirty-five and earlier than four years after the start of menstruation, the rate of complications goes up. If you are in your late thirties or early forties, your risk of complications and some birth defects is higher, but this does not mean that you cannot deliver a healthy baby. Plenty of women have delivered at this age. You are at a perfect age my dear. Good luck!

IMO, I would say having kids between 18-28 would fit the bill much better. But given that kids today are pretty screwed up with a socio&econmic nightmare with no boundaries I don't think it will really matter. I think the term "Grandparents" has no real meaning anymore...it's one of many lost arts to an otherwise normal society. Meds are on the increase like no tomorrow and the rights between child and parent leave nothing to be desired...in fact only serve to hinder the burden on society. Suicide is still on the rise & depression set to grip the world as the number one chronic mental condition. Everyone is out for themselves where the only real value lies in what the media is pumping...technology is constantly justifying itself in an attempt to keep the markets flowing whilst bottle feeding the masses. Laws are made to hold people in & those that wish to disconnect are persecuted. The worlds resources dwindle and the population consumes faster...fancy words meant to give hope are sold off to make money and the brainwashed masses are none the wiser. I'd say it looks pretty bleak...but there is always hope

Update...I felt the need to post this one here as well:

Bad Night:
Police respond to an emergency call unbeknown to my wife & I. Four of them came in despite our bewilderment to make a welfare check. Policy of course…Upon returning to my kitchen duties I was told to put the knife down which was fair enough, as too was the room search. The ruckus was about a domestic at my daughters & her boyfriend’s place. All this bullshit about a child being an adult and withholding information came to play again…excuse’s made and niceties to follow we were left to finish our food drying only to be woken up in the wee hours of the morning with a call from the Mental Health Clinic about our daughters intent to kill herself and to also answer more questions…but get bugger all-in return…except more excuses and niceties. The physician did not know that our daughter had been seeing another at the hospital and unaware of the meds she had just been started on…(not do we)…Our daughter is also unclear and no diagnosis made that she can tell us…Our daughter only has the education level of Primary or first year of secondary…now dependant on drugs and a system unwilling to take in the “Big Picture” nor keep us in the loop, let alone keep a paper trail for others to pick up the pieces. Too much Tech reliance involved these days if you ask me with bullshit procedures and policies. In this light I can tell you things are most likely set to get worse for the poor little guys of the future…anyways…My wife is taking some sleeping to counter the MS drugs that keep her awake as well as this incident…I’ve also been struggling to sleep as a result on both counts, but will suffice with this post and my chamomile yet again.

I think I’ll lodge this one in another forum where the question is:
“What are some major issues you think families in today's society face?”
Based on the above I’d have to say:
Bullshit-Politically motivated policy & procedures/hi tech reliance /testing procedures & a worldwide epidemic on Depression & the need for high level production of Meds, not to mention the lack of world resources and our incessant need to consume it all…I guess there just looking for high tech responses for some kind of paper with one word responses…who knows…with Laws the way they are today and all the shortcuts everyone is suckled on…this does not surprise me…good luck on the paper anyways…I’m not right in the head myself…but I can live with that.

PS...my daughter is safe for now.

How could Islamfobia became a problem for a family???? I am really upset to see your view. In a family problems may arise for economic condition, illness, misunderstanding, lack of trust etc.

The problem that my sisters and I face (which many people in our age category seem to face) is that we are still raising children and putting them through school, while at the same time we are also caring for our aging parents and working full time jobs. So many responsibilities, and very long days.
