I have acid reflux and IBS. Problems at both ends, it sucks badly. I've learned to control both to the point where I can go about my daily life but I'd obviously still like to be normal again. I ordered a colon cleansing program called colon ix which I'm pretty sure will help with IBS. I've read a few articles on line how colon cleansing helps with acid reflux but I'm not sure how credible that source is. Just wondering if anyone here has had success with colon cleansing helping their acidity problems, or could give me tips.
I might add I have been to the doctor and have had tests done and I'm on acid reflux medication but I really don't want to be on it for the rest of my life.

Colon cleanse may help the reflux if you have constipation. However, the most important thing you can do is to see a idiopathicICChysician to find out if you have food allergies that are causing the acidity and colon spasms.
I found as soon as I got off my allergic foods the problems with the IBS disappeared. With the reflux, I find if I eat a bit of protein at night rather than cabs, for a snack, I don't have the same acid problems.

I have also found meditation to be a lifesaver. It gives me tools for relaxing and getting rid of tension and stress. Studies have shown very positive results for IBS sufferers when meditation is practiced regularly.

No it won't help you at all. You don't go to a naturistTho tell if you're allergic to some foods, this is done at a medical centre using a skin scratch test and looking for reactions to each substance tested.
