Colon cleanse may help the reflux if you have constipation. However, the most important thing you can do is to see a idiopathicICChysician to find out if you have food allergies that are causing the acidity and colon spasms.
I found as soon as I got off my allergic foods the problems with the IBS disappeared. With the reflux, I find if I eat a bit of protein at night rather than cabs, for a snack, I don't have the same acid problems.
Inflammation in the body may also impact your colon so I would definitely look at getting on an inflammation free food program. You may want to check out the website http://www.healthy-living-coach.com/naturopathic-medicine-articles.html for more information.
I have also found meditation to be a lifesaver. It gives me tools for relaxing and getting rid of tension and stress. Studies have shown very positive results for IBS sufferers when meditation is practiced regularly.
Good Luck!
